They haven't been around in a while, so they might be funny. I thought the Christmas cartoon was pretty funny. But, if they get a laugh or two, you can bet Dreamworks will drive it into the ground.
I loved the Christmas short, but I also remember that TV show with the lions and those two german guys, Father of the Pride, which didn't do well. TV schedules are crazy and the budget pretty tight. I wouldn't expect animation quality like the Christmas short.
